SYDNEY, Sept 2 (Reuters) - The Australian dollar dropped to a fresh 6-1/2-year low on Wednesday after domestic data showed the economy grew at a slower-than-expected pace last quarter.
It fell as far as $0.6986 to be last at $0.6995, down 0.4 percent on the day.
