SYDNEY, Oct 15 (Reuters) - The Australian dollar dropped a quarter of a U.S. cent on Thursday after jobs data came in below expectations, adding to the case for a cut in interest rates, albeit not for some time.
The Aussie fell to $0.7309, from $0.7340 before the data, but was little changed on the day. It touched a two-month peak of $0.7382 on Monday.
