Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Transport and Agriculture & Food sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 0.47%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The National Co for Glass Industrie (SE:2150), which rose 9.97% or 1.92 points to trade at 21.18 at the close. Malath Cooperative Insurance Co (SE:8020) added 9.15% or 1.78 points to end at 21.24 and Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) was up 4.94% or 0.72 points to 15.30 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Saudi Research and Marketing Group (SE:4210), which lost 8.16% or 4.80 points to trade at 54.00 in late trade. Saudi Printing & Packaging Company (SE:4270) declined 5.36% or 0.98 points to end at 17.32 and BURUJ COOPERATIVE INSURANCE CO (SE:8270) shed 3.44% or 1.10 points to 30.90.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 124 to 42 and 10 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 1.67% or 0.77 to $46.79 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in September rose 1.73% or 0.84 to hit $49.26 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.55% or 6.76 to trade at $1240.46 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.76% to 4.3377, while USD/SAR unchanged 0.00% to 3.7504.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.59% at 94.36.
