Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Investment and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which rose 13.83% or 215.0 points to trade at 1770.0 at the close. Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO) added 4.28% or 2460.0 points to end at 59980.0 and Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) was up 2.86% or 55.0 points to 1980.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Grupo Argos SA (CN:ARG), which lost 3.56% or 700.0 points to trade at 18980.0 in late trade. Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) declined 3.48% or 560.0 points to end at 15540.0 and Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) shed 2.29% or 600.0 points to 25600.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 17 to 8 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was up 2.53% or 3.32 to $134.67 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 1.22% or 37.50 to hit $3042.50 , while the April Gold contract rose 0.30% or 3.70 to trade at $1247.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.43% to 3029.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.73% to 842.68.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.24% at 95.63.
