Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Investment sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 1.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Banco De Bogota SA (CN:BBO), which rose 1.90% or 1140.0 points to trade at 61000.0 at the close. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) added 1.52% or 55.0 points to end at 3670.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 1.13% or 120.0 points to 10720.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU), which lost 10.21% or 245.0 points to trade at 2155.0 in late trade. Ecopetrol SA (CN:ECO) declined 4.12% or 55.0 points to end at 1280.0 and Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE) shed 3.01% or 240.0 points to 7740.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 19 to 6 and 6 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for May delivery was down 1.25% or 1.59 to $125.58 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in May fell 0.86% or 26.50 to hit $3054.50 , while the April Gold contract fell 0.94% or 11.70 to trade at $1233.40 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.16% to 3166.50, while BRL/COP fell 2.80% to 842.00.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.05% at 96.65.
