Investing.com – Saudi Arabia stocks were lower after the close on Sunday, as losses in the Media & Publishing, Hotels & Tourism and Industrial Investment sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share declined 5.44% to hit a new 3-years low.
The best performers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were The National Shipping Co. (SE:4030), which rose 6.42% or 2.40 points to trade at 39.80 at the close. Meanwhile, Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) fell 0.66% or 0.20 points to end at 29.90 and National Petrochemical Company (SE:2002) was down 0.72% or 0.10 points to 13.70 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Arriyadh Development Co. (SE:4150), which fell 10.78% or 1.65 points to trade at 13.65 at the close. Jazan Development Co. (SE:6090) declined 10.65% or 1.40 points to end at 11.75 and Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) was down 10.64% or 0.75 points to 6.30.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange by 165 to 1.

Shares in Aldrees Petroleum & Transport Svcs (SE:4200) fell to 52-week lows; down 0.66% or 0.20 to 29.90. Shares in Solidarity Saudi Takaful Co (SE:8290) fell to all time lows; down 10.64% or 0.75 to 6.30.
Crude oil for February delivery was unchanged 0.00% or 0.00 to $30.39 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 5.33% or 1.65 to hit $29.23 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 1.40% or 15.00 to trade at $1088.60 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was up 0.38% to 4.0916, while USD/SAR fell 0.06% to 3.7488.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.13% at 98.99.
