Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Software & Computer Services, Technology and Healthcare sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 0.95%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS), which rose 0.99% or 2.3 points to trade at 235.6 at the close. Meanwhile, Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE) added 0.79% or 1.4 points to end at 179.4 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 0.27% or 0.20 points to 73.75 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb), which fell 1.66% or 6.5 points to trade at 385.6 at the close. William Demant Holding (CO:WDH) declined 1.55% or 10.0 points to end at 637.0 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was down 1.14% or 9.5 points to 821.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 88 to 80 and 3 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for February delivery was up 1.37% or 0.49 to $36.30 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in February fell 0.10% or 0.04 to hit $36.31 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.68% or 7.40 to trade at $1073.20 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.47% to 6.8037, while EUR/DKK fell 0.00% to 7.4617.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 98.14.
