Meanwhile, Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p) added 1.34% or 120.0 points to end at 9100.0 and Cemargos (CN:CCB) was up 1.28% or 120.0 points to 9460.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Celsia SA (CN:CEL), which fell 1.48% or 65.0 points to trade at 4330.0 at the close. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.29% or 45.0 points to end at 3455.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was down 1.23% or 160.0 points to 12820.0.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 15 to 14 and 2 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for September delivery was down 0.83% or 1.07 to $128.65 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in September fell 0.01% or 0.50 to hit $3355.00 , while the August Gold contract fell 0.31% or 3.50 to trade at $1143.90 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was unchanged 0.00% to 2715.50, while BRL/COP fell 0.53% to 860.62.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.50% at 97.77.
