Investing.com – Finland stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Technology, Oil & Gas and Consumer Services sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 declined 1.05%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were TeliaSonera AB (HE:TLS1V), which rose 0.72% or 0.032 points to trade at 4.500 at the close. Meanwhile, Kemira Oyj (HE:KRA1V) added 0.46% or 0.05 points to end at 10.95 and Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V) was up 0.42% or 0.0120 points to 2.8660 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV), which fell 2.56% or 0.75 points to trade at 28.52 at the close. Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS) declined 2.53% or 0.67 points to end at 25.84 and Nokia Oyj (HE:NOKIA) was down 2.41% or 0.165 points to 6.670.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Helsinki Stock Exchange by 129 to 56 and 4 ended unchanged.
Shares in Kesko Oyj B (HE:KESBV) fell to 52-week lows; losing 2.56% or 0.75 to 28.52.
Brent oil for January delivery was down 1.21% or 0.55 to $44.65 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Crude oil for delivery in December fell 2.35% or 0.98 to hit $40.77 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.04% or 0.40 to trade at $1081.40 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was down 0.89% to 1.0719, while EUR/GBP fell 0.77% to 0.7048.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.69% at 99.25.
