Investing.com – Denmark equities were higher at the close on Tuesday, as gains in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Financials sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 gained 1.61%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were DSV (CO:DSV), which rose 3.48% or 11.0 points to trade at 327.5 at the close. Genmab (CO:GEN) added 2.92% or 35.0 points to end at 1233.0 and Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) was up 2.71% or 12.9 points to 488.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 4.16% or 36.0 points to trade at 830.0 in late trade. William Demant Holding AS (CO:WDH) declined 0.28% or 0.4 points to end at 140.0 and FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) gained 0.38% or 1.0 points to 262.6.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 105 to 39 and 18 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for September delivery was down 0.58% or 0.25 to $42.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in October fell 0.75% or 0.34 to hit $45.05 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.35% or 4.75 to trade at $1346.05 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.20% to 6.6951, while EUR/DKK rose 0.00% to 7.4375.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.19% at 96.11.
