Investing.com – Denmark stocks were higher after the close on Monday, as gains in the Real Estate, Oil & Gas and Financials sectors led shares higher.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 added 0.31% to hit a new 1-month high.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 3.48% or 22.5 points to trade at 668.5 at the close. Meanwhile, Tryg A/S (CO:TRYG) added 2.05% or 2.5 points to end at 124.2 and TDC A/S (CO:TDC) was up 1.61% or 0.59 points to 37.35 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which fell 1.72% or 1.35 points to trade at 77.20 at the close. FLSmidth & Co. (CO:FLS) declined 0.85% or 2.2 points to end at 258.1 and Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb) was down 0.76% or 2.4 points to 312.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 79 to 79 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.08% or 0.48 to $44.12 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.57% or 0.28 to hit $47.72 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.25% or 2.90 to trade at $1165.70 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.28% to 6.7513, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4601.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.28% at 96.91.
