Investing.com – Sweden stocks were lower after the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Technology and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 2.23% or 1.40 points to trade at 64.25 at the close. Meanwhile, Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) added 1.15% or 2.00 points to end at 175.60 and Svenska Cellulosa AB SCA ser. B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.95% or 2.4 points to 254.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Sandvik AB (ST:SAND), which fell 3.38% or 3.05 points to trade at 87.30 at the close. Lundin Petroleum AB (ST:LUPE) declined 2.58% or 3.60 points to end at 135.90 and Telefonaktiebolaget L M Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) was down 2.35% or 2.00 points to 82.95.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Stockholm Stock Exchange by 293 to 282 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for January delivery was down 0.36% or 0.15 to $41.50 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January fell 0.55% or 0.24 to hit $44.37 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.03% or 0.30 to trade at $1065.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.17% to 9.2361, while USD/SEK fell 0.32% to 8.7002.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.30% at 99.96.
