Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Friday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Oil & Gas sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.41%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were FLSmidth & Co. (COP:FLS), which rose 2.94% or 6.7 points to trade at 234.7 at the close. Meanwhile, Nordea Bank AB (COP:NDA) added 1.40% or 1.05 points to end at 76.15 and Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (COP:CHRH) was up 1.15% or 4.3 points to 376.9 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were TDC A/S (COP:TDC), which fell 2.03% or 0.69 points to trade at 33.34 at the close. Novozymes B (COP:NZYMb) declined 1.39% or 4.0 points to end at 283.0 and Tryg A/S (COP:TRYG) was down 0.94% or 1.2 points to 126.5.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 83 to 68 and 3 ended unchanged.
Shares in TDC A/S (COP:TDC) fell to 5-year lows; falling 2.03% or 0.69 to 33.34.
Crude oil for November delivery was down 0.38% or 0.17 to $44.57 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in November fell 0.49% or 0.23 to hit $47.45 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 2.15% or 23.90 to trade at $1137.60 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.54% to 6.6273, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4605.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.60% at 95.77.
