Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Industrials, Investment and Financials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP declined 0.69%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which rose 1.57% or 160.0 points to trade at 10360.0 at the close. Isagen SA (CN:ISG) added 0.50% or 20.0 points to end at 3985.0 and Banco Davivienda Pf (CN:DVI_p) was up 0.22% or 60.0 points to 27060.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Cementos Argos Pf (CN:CCB_p), which lost 2.17% or 240.0 points to trade at 10800.0 in late trade. Pfgrupsura (CN:SIS_p) declined 1.63% or 620.0 points to end at 37500.0 and Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) shed 1.56% or 280.0 points to 17680.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 22 to 5 and 3 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.44% or 0.61 to $137.07 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in September rose 0.35% or 11.00 to hit $3110.00 , while the August Gold contract rose 0.89% or 11.35 to trade at $1287.25 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.88% to 2996.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.80% to 860.45.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.23% at 94.41.
