Investing.com – Finland equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Helsinki, the OMX Helsinki 25 fell 0.17%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Helsinki 25 were Outokumpu Oyj (HE:OUT1V), which rose 1.32% or 0.0950 points to trade at 7.2700 at the close. Huhtamaki Oyj (HE:HUH1V) added 1.06% or 0.38 points to end at 36.07 and Stora Enso Oyj R (HE:STERV) was up 0.61% or 0.070 points to 11.520 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Amer Sports Corporation (HE:AMEAS), which lost 1.46% or 0.31 points to trade at 20.99 in late trade. Sampo Oyj A (HE:SAMPO) declined 1.39% or 0.63 points to end at 44.68 and Cargotec Oyj (HE:CGCBV) shed 1.28% or 0.70 points to 53.85.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 70 to 61 and 23 ended unchanged on the Helsinki Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Brent oil for August delivery was up 0.75% or 0.37 to $49.84 a barrel. Meanwhile, Crude oil for delivery in July rose 1.14% or 0.54 to hit $47.94 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.98% or 12.58 to trade at $1295.28 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 0.12% to 1.1268, while EUR/GBP rose 0.25% to 0.8742.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.19% at 96.59.
