Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Wednesday, as gains in the Property, Agriculture and Infrastructure sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite added 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA), which rose 34.07% or 31 points to trade at 122 at the close. Bekasi Asri Pemula Tbk (JK:BAPA) added 27.36% or 29 points to end at 135 and Pudjiadi & Sons Tbk (JK:PNSE) was up 25.00% or 150 points to 750 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Capitol Nusantara Indonesia (JK:CANI), which lost 21.10% or 115 points to trade at 430 in late trade. Rimo International Lestari Tbk PT (JK:RIMO) declined 17.71% or 31.000 points to end at 144.000 and Akbar Indomakmur Stimec Tbk (JK:AIMS) shed 16.76% or 30 points to 149.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 182 to 135 and 119 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was up 0.62% or 0.33 to $53.73 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June rose 0.71% or 0.40 to hit $56.63 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract rose 0.10% or 1.25 to trade at $1275.45 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was down 0.18% to 13282.0, while AUD/IDR fell 0.22% to 9955.60.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.01% at 100.64.
