Investing.com – Saudi Arabia equities were higher at the close on Monday, as gains in the Multi Investment, Hotels & Tourism and Real Estate Development sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Saudi Arabia, the Tadawul All Share added 0.88% to hit a new 6-month high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Tadawul All Share were Tourism Enterprise Co. (SE:4170), which rose 9.25% or 2.70 points to trade at 31.90 at the close. National Agriculture Marketing Co. (SE:4160) added 8.03% or 2.40 points to end at 32.30 and Al Hokair Group (SE:1820) was up 7.26% or 2.20 points to 32.50 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ACE ARABIA COOPERATIVE INSURANCE (SE:8240), which lost 2.41% or 0.90 points to trade at 36.40 in late trade. Saudi Int Petrochemical Co (SE:2310) declined 1.27% or 0.20 points to end at 15.50 and Mobile Telecommunications Company (SE:7030) shed 1.23% or 0.10 points to 8.05.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 128 to 22 and 19 ended unchanged on the Saudi Arabia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 0.96% or 0.44 to $46.50 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.95% or 0.46 to hit $48.70 a barrel, while the December Gold contract rose 0.81% or 9.60 to trade at $1188.00 a troy ounce.
EUR/SAR was down 0.03% to 3.9712, while USD/SAR rose 0.01% to 3.7509.
The US Dollar Index was unchanged 0.00% at 101.48.
