Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Industrials, Financials and Agriculture sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.04%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI), which rose 1.24% or 200.0 points to trade at 16300.0 at the close. Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p) added 1.07% or 200.0 points to end at 18960.0 and Interconexion Electrica SA (CN:ISA) was up 0.57% or 50.0 points to 8750.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Canacol Energy Ltd (CN:CNE), which lost 2.08% or 190.0 points to trade at 8930.0 in late trade. Celsia SA (CN:CEL) declined 1.60% or 65.0 points to end at 3990.0 and Corp Financiera Colombiana SA (CN:CFV) shed 1.56% or 620.0 points to 39040.0.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 17 to 10 and 5 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was down 0.67% or 0.83 to $123.25 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July rose 1.48% or 46.00 to hit $3154.50 , while the June Gold contract fell 1.22% or 15.20 to trade at $1235.10 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was up 0.22% to 2948.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.61% to 826.58.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.51% at 95.10.
