Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Consumer Services and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 1.95%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 1.34% or 0.63 points to trade at 47.73 at the close. Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (ST:KINVBs) added 0.05% or 0.1 points to end at 188.4 and AstraZeneca PLC (ST:AZN) was unchanged 0.00% or 0.0 points to 458.9 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 6.63% or 5.50 points to trade at 77.50 in late trade. SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) declined 3.98% or 0.79 points to end at 19.06 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) shed 3.58% or 2.55 points to 68.70.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 491 to 102 and 30 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was down 3.56% or 1.71 to $46.30 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August fell 3.61% or 1.77 to hit $47.20 a barrel, while the August Gold contract rose 1.63% or 21.05 to trade at $1309.35 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.41% to 9.3960, while USD/SEK rose 1.35% to 8.4223.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.71% at 95.34.
