Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Healthcare, Consumer Goods and Software & Computer Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 lost 0.96%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Chr. Hansen Holding A/S (CO:CHRH), which rose 5.33% or 20.6 points to trade at 407.2 at the close. A.P. Moller - Maersk B (CO:MAERSKb) added 1.66% or 170 points to end at 10420 and Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA) was up 1.55% or 1.10 points to 72.10 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Novozymes A/S B (CO:NZYMb), which lost 11.22% or 32.1 points to trade at 253.9 in late trade. GN Store Nord (CO:GN) declined 2.00% or 2.8 points to end at 137.0 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) shed 1.78% or 11.0 points to 608.5.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 103 to 48 and 10 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was down 1.14% or 0.57 to $49.39 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 1.40% or 0.71 to hit $50.08 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 0.40% or 5.05 to trade at $1268.55 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.23% to 6.8150, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4386.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.12% at 98.57.
