Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Personal & Household Goods, Consumer Goods and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.23%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Genmab (CO:GEN), which rose 1.83% or 23.0 points to trade at 1278.0 at the close. Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb) added 1.08% or 6.0 points to end at 559.5 and Carlsberg A/S B (CO:CARLb) was up 0.38% or 2.5 points to 664.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA), which lost 12.12% or 91.5 points to trade at 663.5 in late trade. AP Moeller - Maersk A/S B (CO:MAERSKb) declined 3.34% or 400 points to end at 11570 and AP Moeller - Maersk A/S A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 3.04% or 350 points to 11150.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 83 to 41 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for May delivery was down 0.59% or 0.31 to $52.34 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in June fell 0.94% or 0.52 to hit $54.84 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1291.00 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.56% to 6.9511, while EUR/DKK fell 0.01% to 7.4382.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.51% at 99.69.
