Investing.com – Norway equities were lower at the close on Friday, as losses in the Commercial Service And Supplies, Auto & components and Utilities sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Oslo, the Oslo OBX declined 0.29%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Oslo OBX were Storebrand ASA (OL:STB), which rose 1.23% or 0.61 points to trade at 50.54 at the close. Aker Solutions OL (OL:AKSOL) added 0.71% or 0.33 points to end at 47.03 and Gjensidige Forsikring ASA (OL:GJFS) was up 0.71% or 1.0 points to 142.1 in late trade.
Biggest losers included REC Silicon ASA (OL:REC), which lost 7.02% or 0.10 points to trade at 1.28 in late trade. Seadrill Limited (OL:SDRL) declined 6.35% or 1.6 points to end at 23.9 and BW LPG Ltd (OL:BWLPG) shed 3.19% or 1.44 points to 43.76.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 107 to 75 and 28 ended unchanged on the Oslo Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for March delivery was down 1.88% or 1.01 to $52.77 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in March fell 2.08% or 1.17 to hit $55.07 a barrel, while the February Gold contract fell 0.28% or 3.35 to trade at $1186.45 a troy ounce.
EUR/NOK was up 0.01% to 8.9118, while USD/NOK fell 0.03% to 8.3378.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.10% at 100.62.
