Investing.com – Israel equities were higher at the close on Sunday, as gains in the Real Estate, Biomed and Communication sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 added 0.98%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the TA 25 were Gazit Globe (TA:GZT), which rose 5.24% or 147 points to trade at 2954 at the close. OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) added 3.96% or 138 points to end at 3621 and Perrigo (TA:PRGO) was up 2.37% or 1170 points to 50440 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Strauss Group (TA:STRS), which lost 1.35% or 72 points to trade at 5266 in late trade. Discount (TA:DSCT) declined 0.44% or 2.8 points to end at 633.0 and Isramco L (TA:ISRAp) shed 0.32% or 0.2 points to 62.5.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 231 to 106 and 117 ended unchanged on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for April delivery was down 0.64% or 0.21 to $32.86 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in April fell 0.37% or 0.13 to hit $35.16 a barrel, while the April Gold contract fell 1.25% or 15.50 to trade at $1223.30 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.28% to 3.9130, while EUR/ILS fell 0.25% to 4.2864.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.71% at 98.13.
