Investing.com – Colombia stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Industrials and Agriculture sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP lost 0.35%.
The best performers of the session on the COLCAP were Pfgrupoarg (CN:ARG_p), which rose 2.26% or 380.0 points to trade at 17180.0 at the close. Meanwhile, Bolsa De Valores De Colombia (CN:BVC) added 1.85% or 0.3 points to end at 16.5 and Pacific Rubiales Energy Corp (CN:PRU) was up 1.40% or 90.0 points to 6500.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH), which fell 4.43% or 500.0 points to trade at 10780.0 at the close. Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1) declined 1.61% or 440.0 points to end at 26860.0 and Almacenes Exito SA (CN:IMI) was down 1.56% or 220.0 points to 13860.0.
Rising stocks outnumbered declining ones on the Colombia Stock Exchange by 18 to 12 and 3 ended unchanged.
US coffee C for December delivery was down 0.79% or 0.95 to $119.88 . Elsewhere in commodities trading, US cocoa for delivery in December fell 0.35% or 11.00 to hit $3133.50 , while the December Gold contract fell 0.11% or 1.30 to trade at $1165.80 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 1.79% to 2904.00, while BRL/COP fell 0.98% to 742.81.
The US Dollar Index was up 1.42% at 96.43.
