Ethereum Falls 10.14% In Selloff

Investing.com - Ethereum was trading at $3,940.67 by 23:08 (12:08 GMT) on the Investing.com Index on Friday, up 10.14% on the day. It was the largest one-day percentage gain since Friday, November 26, 2021.

The move upwards pushed Ethereum's market cap up to $473.48B, or 19.62% of the total cryptocurrency market cap. At its highest, Ethereum's market cap was $569.58B.

Ethereum had traded in a range of $3,933.28 to $4,548.10 in the previous twenty-four hours.

Over the past seven days, Ethereum has seen a drop in value, as it lost 3.48%. The volume of Ethereum traded in the twenty-four hours to time of writing was $24.53B or 14.81% of the total volume of all cryptocurrencies. It has traded in a range of $3,933.2815 to $4,549.7378 in the past 7 days.

At its current price, Ethereum is still down 18.98% from its all-time high of $4,864.06 set on Wednesday, November 10, 2021.

Elsewhere in cryptocurrency trading

Bitcoin was last at $53,660.8 on the Investing.com Index, down 7.50% on the day.

Binance Coin was trading at $567.65 on the Investing.com Index, a loss of 11.25%.

Bitcoin's market cap was last at $1,016.70B or 42.13% of the total cryptocurrency market cap, while Binance Coin's market cap totaled $95.14B or 3.94% of the total cryptocurrency market value.
