Investing.com -- U.S. oil stockpiles fell by less than expected last week, the Energy Information Administration said on Wednesday.
Crude inventories fell by 2.114 million barrels last week, compared with analysts' expectations for a draw of 3.283 million barrels.
Distillate stockpiles, which include diesel and heating oil, rose by 4.418 million barrels in the week against expectations for a build of 1.525 million barrels, the EIA data showed.
Gasoline inventories jumped by 10.128 million barrels last week, the EIA said, compared with expectations for a build of 1.775 million barrels.
