SEOUL, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Korea East West Power Co (EWP) bought 60,000 tonnes of Australian coal for September loading via a tender that closed on Friday, a source from the utility said on Tuesday.
The utility originally planned to buy a total of 100,000 tonnes of coal, but declined to purchase a 40,000-tonne cargo due to high rates, the source said. price details were not available, other details of the purchase are as follows:
