SEOUL, May 2 (Reuters) - Korea Midland Power Co Ltd (KOMIPO) has bought a total of nearly 1.95 million tonnes of coal for shipping between July and September, a source from the utility said on Tuesday.
The utility purchased a combined 1.22 million tonnes of high calorific coal products from Australia, while the remaining low calorific coal will be shipped from Indonesia, the source said.
Details of the purchase are as follows, although the source declined to give price and seller details due to company policy.
