WELLINGTON, Sept 5 (Reuters) - Prices for New Zealand's main commodities slipped in August, due to lower meat prices and flat dairy prices, ANZ Bank's index showed on Tuesday.
The commodity price index fell 0.8 percent for the second month in a row.
On an annual basis the index was 16.3 percent higher, compared with a 21.1 percent rise the month before.
Dairy products, the country's biggest export earner, were down 0.4 percent, while meat prices lost 3.2 percent as higher U.S. production reduced demand.
