Investing.com – Israel stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Banking, Financials and Insurance sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Tel Aviv, the TA 25 fell 0.36%.
The best performers of the session on the TA 25 were Azrieli Group (TA:AZRG), which rose 1.58% or 240 points to trade at 15450 at the close. Meanwhile, Bezeq (TA:BEZQ) added 1.50% or 11.7 points to end at 790.0 and OPKO Health Inc (TA:OPK) was up 1.15% or 43 points to 3783 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Discount (TA:DSCT), which fell 2.44% or 17.6 points to trade at 703.5 at the close. Delek Group (TA:DLEKG) declined 2.27% or 2040 points to end at 87960 and Leumi (TA:LUMI) was down 1.88% or 28 points to 1460.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange by 161 to 146 and 136 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 2.37% or 1.13 to $46.59 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 3.14% or 1.58 to hit $48.88 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 1.04% or 12.30 to trade at $1170.80 a troy ounce.
USD/ILS was up 0.55% to 3.8561, while EUR/ILS rose 0.18% to 4.3601.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.28% at 95.03.
