Investing.com – Sweden equities were higher at the close on Friday, as gains in the Technology, Telecoms and Healthcare sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 gained 0.41%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Nokia Oyj (ST:NOKIA), which rose 3.50% or 1.51 points to trade at 44.69 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) added 1.86% or 0.98 points to end at 53.73 and SSAB AB ser. A (ST:SSABa) was up 1.28% or 0.45 points to 35.48 in late trade.
Biggest losers included ASSA ABLOY AB ser. B (ST:ASSAb), which lost 0.47% or 0.8 points to trade at 170.1 in late trade. Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) declined 0.16% or 0.15 points to end at 96.50 and Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) shed 0.15% or 0.10 points to 66.20.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 402 to 203 and 65 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for February delivery was up 0.13% or 0.07 to $53.02 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in February rose 0.31% or 0.17 to hit $55.22 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.34% or 3.85 to trade at $1134.55 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.18% to 9.6117, while USD/SEK fell 0.30% to 9.1968.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.07% at 103.00.
