Investing.com – Colombia equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Financials, Services and Public Services sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Colombia, the COLCAP fell 0.15%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the COLCAP were Grupo de Inversiones Suramericana SA (CN:SIS), which rose 0.88% or 340.0 points to trade at 39060.0 at the close. Grupoaval (CN:GAA) added 0.84% or 10.0 points to end at 1200.0 and Cemex Latam Holdings SA (CN:CLH) was up 0.75% or 80.0 points to 10720.0 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Bancolombia Pf (CN:BIC_p1), which lost 1.38% or 400.0 points to trade at 28520.0 in late trade. Avianca Holdings Pf (CN:AVT_p) declined 1.11% or 30.0 points to end at 2670.0 and Bcolombia (CN:BIC) shed 1.05% or 280.0 points to 26320.0.
Advancing stocks outnumbered falling ones by 14 to 11 and 7 ended unchanged on the Colombia Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, US coffee C for July delivery was up 1.12% or 1.61 to $145.18 . Meanwhile, US cocoa for delivery in July fell 0.78% or 15.00 to hit $1910.50 , while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.07% or 0.90 to trade at $1291.00 a troy ounce.
USD/COP was down 0.49% to 2838.17, while BRL/COP fell 0.88% to 911.76.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.79% at 99.41.
