Investing.com – Denmark equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Industrials sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 declined 1.15% to hit a new 1-month low.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Coloplast A/S (CO:COLOb), which rose 0.59% or 2.9 points to trade at 495.4 at the close. Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) added 0.36% or 3.0 points to end at 847.0 and ISS A/S (CO:ISS) was up 0.24% or 0.60 points to 248.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (CO:NDA), which lost 2.70% or 1.70 points to trade at 61.35 in late trade. Vestas Wind Systems A/S (CO:VWS) declined 2.56% or 11.6 points to end at 441.0 and A.P. Moller - Maersk A (CO:MAERSKa) shed 2.48% or 215 points to 8450.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 100 to 43 and 13 ended unchanged on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 2.90% or 1.30 to $43.48 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 2.07% or 0.95 to hit $44.88 a barrel, while the June Gold contract fell 0.53% or 6.85 to trade at $1288.95 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was up 0.14% to 6.4598, while EUR/DKK rose 0.01% to 7.4422.
The US Dollar Index was up 0.30% at 92.81.
