Investing.com – Indonesia equities were higher at the close on Thursday, as gains in the Agriculture, Basic Industry and Trade sectors propelled shares higher.
At the close in Jakarta, the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite rose 0.19% to hit a new all time high.
The biggest gainers of the session on the Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite were Apac Citra Centertex Tbk (JK:MYTX), which rose 34.48% or 50 points to trade at 195 at the close. Yulie Sekurindo Tbk (JK:YULE) added 26.47% or 36.00 points to end at 172.00 and Siwani Makmur Tbk (JK:SIMA) was up 25.00% or 90.00 points to 450.00 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Alakasa Industrindo Tbk (JK:ALKA), which lost 17.18% or 28 points to trade at 135 in late trade. Eterindo Wahanatama Tbk (JK:ETWA) declined 16.00% or 12 points to end at 63 and Cikarang Listrindo Tbk PT (JK:POWR) shed 15.19% or 215 points to 1200.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 160 to 152 and 131 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for August delivery was up 0.63% or 0.27 to $42.80 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.85% or 0.38 to hit $45.20 a barrel, while the August Gold Futures contract rose 0.58% or 7.22 to trade at $1253.02 a troy ounce.
USD/IDR was up 0.04% to 13325.5, while AUD/IDR rose 0.18% to 10048.35.
The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 97.22.
