Investing.com – Italy stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Financials and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Milan, the Investing.com Italy 40 declined 2.50%.
The best performers of the session on the Investing.com Italy 40 were Snam (MI:SRG), which rose 3.44% or 0.164 points to trade at 4.926 at the close. Meanwhile, Yoox Net-A-Porter Group SpA (MI:YNAP) added 1.14% or 0.39 points to end at 34.56 and Terna (MI:TRN) was up 0.64% or 0.030 points to 4.700 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Campari (MI:CPRI), which fell 4.99% or 0.42 points to trade at 8.00 at the close. Banco Popolare Sc (MI:BAPO) declined 4.32% or 0.5800 points to end at 12.8500 and Luxottica Group (MI:LUX) was down 4.26% or 2.75 points to 61.80.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Milan Stock Exchange by 351 to 90 and 3 ended unchanged.

Crude oil for January delivery was up 2.43% or 0.97 to $40.91 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 3.12% or 1.32 to hit $43.81 a barrel, while the February Gold contract rose 0.45% or 4.70 to trade at $1058.50 a troy ounce.
EUR/USD was up 2.95% to 1.0926, while EUR/GBP rose 1.89% to 0.7234.
The US Dollar Index was down 2.01% at 98.03.
