Investing.com – Denmark stocks were lower after the close on Thursday, as losses in the Financials, Healthcare and Industrials sectors led shares lower.
At the close in Copenhagen, the OMX Copenhagen 20 fell 2.95%.
The best performers of the session on the OMX Copenhagen 20 were Novozymes B (CO:NZYMb), which rose 2.12% or 6.6 points to trade at 318.4 at the close. Meanwhile, GN Store Nord (CO:GN) added 1.71% or 2.2 points to end at 131.1 and Pandora A/S (CO:PNDORA) was up 0.70% or 5.5 points to 787.0 in late trade.
The worst performers of the session were Danske Bank A/S (CO:DANSKE), which fell 7.07% or 13.8 points to trade at 181.4 at the close. Novo Nordisk B (CO:NOVOb) declined 5.31% or 20.4 points to end at 364.0 and Jyske Bank A/S (CO:JYSK) was down 3.33% or 11.6 points to 336.8.
Falling stocks outnumbered advancing ones on the Copenhagen Stock Exchange by 96 to 59 and 4 ended unchanged.
Crude oil for December delivery was down 0.04% or 0.02 to $45.92 a barrel. Elsewhere in commodities trading, Brent oil for delivery in December fell 0.28% or 0.14 to hit $48.91 a barrel, while the December Gold contract fell 2.49% or 29.30 to trade at $1146.80 a troy ounce.
USD/DKK was down 0.31% to 6.8081, while EUR/DKK fell 0.03% to 7.4573.
The US Dollar Index was down 0.17% at 97.51.
