Red Star Express Plc, together with its subsidiaries, engages in the provision of courier, mailroom management, outsourcing, freight services, logistics, warehousing, and general haulage services in Nigeria. The company operates in four segments: Courier Service, Freight Services, Logistics, and Support Services. Its services include air and sea freight of heavyweight cargo, container handling, packing, movement and removal of personal effects, clearing and forwarding, and door-to-door pickup and delivery; and agro trade services and last-mile delivery for agro produce, as well as delivery of documents and parcels, and acting as cargo sales agents for airlines. The company also provides haulage of domestic heavyweights, trucking, cargo consolidation, and ancillary services; home/office relocation and cold chain logistics for temperature-controlled goods; and dedicated dispatch, executive driver, fleet management, HR outsourcing, printing and packaging, and food delivery services, as well as custom clearance, E-commerce, and chain distribution services. It owns and operates a fleet of approximately 700 vehicles. The company was founded in 1992 and is headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria.
