Printcare PLC, together with its subsidiaries, provides printing, packaging, and digital media solutions in Sri Lanka, India, and the United Kingdom. The company operates in two segments, Printing and Packaging. The Printing segment provides digital printing services; manufactures and prints tea bags and envelopes; and prints products with security features, as well as exports printed papers and boards. The Packaging segment is involved in the manufacture and printing of packing materials; printing and binding of books, magazines, brochures, and catalogues; and provision of graphic design, and pre-press and pre-media services. The company’s products include cartons and boxes; gift and apparel packaging products; self-adhesive labels; labels; greeting cards; commercial and book printing products; tea bag tags and envelopes, as well as tea bag meshes; pre-paid phone cards; lottery tickets; promotional games; and security certificates. In addition, the company offers value added labels, such as pressure sensitive labels, in mould labels, lamitubes, shrink sleeves, stretch sleeves, paper or wet glue labels, and wash-off labels; data imaging on the labels; and flexo and offset printing, silk screen printing, foiling, printing on foil, die cutting and embossing, and varnishing, as well as lamination finishes. Further, it manufactures and supplies ecofriendly paper canisters and paper containers; and trades in packing materials, which include food grade packaging. The company serves tea, apparel, FMCG, telecommunications, education, publishing, tobacco, finance, and lottery industries. The company was incorporated in 1979 and is headquartered in Kelaniya, Sri Lanka.
