Great Eastern Energy Corporation Ltd is a fully integrated producer of coal bed methane (CBM). The Company is engaged in providing gas to the industrial region of West Bengal. The Company is involved in the extraction and sale of coal bed methane (CBM)/compressed natural gas (CNG) gas in India. The Company produces gas from the Raniganj (South) license area, which covers approximately 210 square kilometers, 9.25 trillion cubic feet (TCF) of Original-Gas-in-Place. The Company's second asset is the Mannargudi license, which is situated in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The Mannargudi license covers an area of approximately 667 square kilometers and over 0.98 TCF of Gas-in-Place. The Company holds franchisee agreements with Indian Oil Corporation Limited and Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited for the supply of CNG. It petroleum exploration license (PEL) with Tamil Nadu is located in the southern region of India.
