Caprihans India Limited engages in the manufacture and sale of rigid and flexible polyvinyl chloride (PVC) films, PVDC coated films, and plastic extruded products in India. The company offers rigid PVC films, including pharmaceutical packaging films for packing tablets, capsules, pre-filled syringes, ampoules, and medical devices; food packaging films for chocolates, cakes, pastries, lozenges, biscuits, and chewing gums; other packaging films for toothbrushes, razor blades, shaving brushes, battery cells, cosmetics, cartridges, stationery items, electronic components, auto parts, and toys under the Sunblis and Sunplex names; and specialty films for use in 2D/3D posters, decorative articles, labels and price tags, calendars, sequins, stationery products, filing systems, indexes and dividers, albums, visual packing, folding boxes, windows, sliding covers, cards, ID cards, lamp shades, cooling towers, and other special requirements under the Sunvic name. It also offers flexible PVC films under the Sunflex name, including sheeting for office stationery items, shopping bags, toilet kits, wardrobe, bags-linings, etc.; transparent films for photo and glass lamination, photo albums, etc.; rainwear films for raincoats and windcheaters; printed films for table covers, shower curtains, etc.; laminated films for toys, balloons, play pools, beach articles, furniture film, tank lining, etc.; special films for urine bags, hospital sheeting, air circulation beds, etc., as well as for insulation tapes, cable wrap, automobile industry, chemical tank linings, packaging industry, cosmetic industry, etc.; and customized films. In addition, the company provides plastic corrugated sheets used in advertising industry under the Sunpac name; coated paper lidding foils under the SUNLID name; and healthcare products comprising PPE coveralls, sheets, pillow covers, curtains, face shields, and portable beds. It also exports its products. The company was incorporated in 1946 and is headquartered in Mumbai, India. Caprihans India Limited operates as a subsidiary of Bilcare Mauritius Limited.
