Voltaic Strategic Resources Ltd (ASX:VSR), an early-stage exploration company focused on critical minerals, primarily rare earths and battery metals, is making significant progress with its projects in Western Australia and Nevada, USA.
The Gascoyne region of Western Australia, in particular, has been a focus of the company's efforts, and Voltaic is currently conducting its second drill campaign since listing on the Australian Securities Exchange (ASX) in October 2022.
The campaign is at the Tea Tree Project, where the company has identified similar pegmatites to those found at the Uniatierra lithium discovery site, being drilled by Delta Lithium.
According to CEO Michael Walshe, the purpose of this campaign is to gather micro data to apply to the regional scale, with over 40 kilometres of the corridor to explore.
Voltaic is also making progress at the Paddy's World Railroad Project in the Gascoyne region.
The company completed a drill campaign and identified clay-hosted rocks, and the next step is to conduct metallurgical testing to determine the leaching characteristics of the words to see if there is an ionic component for economic viability going forward.
With a strong technical team, the company is expected to continue to make progress in critical minerals exploration, primarily rare earths and battery metals.
