Titan Minerals Ltd (ASX:TTM) is making good progress on drilling at Brecha-Comanche and Kaliman targets of the Cerro Verde prospect within the company’s 100% held Dynasty Gold Project in southern Ecuador.

Promising gold and silver results

The program has yielded promising results, confirming the extension of gold and silver mineralisation at the Brecha-Comanche prospect and unveiling a new epithermal vein system at the Kaliman porphyry zone.

These findings have significant implications for resource growth and exploration opportunities at the Dynasty Project.

At Brecha-Comanche, drilling has extended the depth of the high-grade system by more than 120 metres compared to previous drilling efforts. Key intersections include:

  • 4.97 metres at 2.12 g/t gold and 6.91 g/t silver from 299.1 metres, and 11 metres at 2.67 g/t gold and 19.23 g/t silver from 396 metres; and
  • 5.88 metres at 4.64 g/t gold and 9.22 g/t silver from 203 metres, and 11.95 metres at 3.25 g/t gold and 10.52 g/t silver from 218.5 metres.

These results indicate strong depth and grade continuity, highlighting the potential for further resource expansion within the targeted 10-million-ounce project at Dynasty.

Diamond drilling at the Kaliman porphyry zone has unveiled a new overlapping epithermal vein system with shallow and high-grade gold-silver intersections. Notable results include:

  • 3 metres at 3.89 g/t gold and 21.30 g/t silver from 72 metres, and 6.6 metres at 2.47 g/t gold and 8.49 g/t silver from 105.4 metres; and
  • 3.69 metres at 3.47 g/t gold and 10.04 g/t silver from 34.31 metres, and 3.14 metres at 3.55 g/t gold and 14.12 g/t silver from 163 metres.

These results highlight the potential for expanding the overall ore system and targeting this style of mineralisation across the broader Dynasty Project.

In addition to the drilling program, surface geochemical sampling and detailed mapping are underway at the Papayal and Trapichillo prospects within the 9-kilometre epithermal vein corridor.

Strong depth and grade

“These exciting results prove strong depth and grade continuity of the epithermal vein system in the Brecha-Comanche zone at Cerro Verde,” Titan CEO Melanie Leighton said.

“The intercepts have extended the known depth of the high-grade system more than 120 metres below previous drilling, and more importantly the system remains open.

“These results have massive implications for exploration and resource growth at the Dynasty Project, where most of the gold mineralisation defined to date at the project sits within the top 100 metres of surface and is sparsely tested to approximately 200 metres depth.

“Our follow-up drilling in the Kaliman porphyry zone has identified a new overlapping and structurally controlled zone of epithermal vein mineralisation with excellent shallow and high-grade gold-silver intercepts returned.

"These new results present a great opportunity for further expansion of the overall ore system targeting this style of mineralisation across the broader Dynasty Project.

“Another important milestone recently achieved has been re-securing access to the Papayal and Trapichillo prospects, where the geology team is rapidly advancing surface geochemistry and confirmatory mapping across the outcropping epithermal vein corridor.

"This area is sparsely and shallowly tested by historical drilling and trenching and provides a significant opportunity to rapidly grow the resource base.

“Our CSR team has done a magnificent job in establishing positive and mutually beneficial engagement and support with the many communities and stakeholders in our project areas providing a terrific foundation for advancement of the Dynasty Project.”

Titan's CSR team has made substantial progress in establishing positive relationships with local communities and stakeholders, providing a strong foundation for the continued advancement of the Dynasty Project.
