Thor Mining PLC (AIM:THR, OTC:THORF, ASX:THR) said it has completed its latest drilling program at the Ragged Range project in eastern Pilbara, Western Australia.
At Kelly’s Prospect, holes were drilled to follow up on rock samples and test a new conceptual target as well as underneath the historic copper workings, with assay results awaited.
Drilling at Sterling, meanwhile, unearthed anomalous gold results up to 6 metres at 0.2 grams per ton (g/t).
In a statement, Nicole Galloway Warland, Thor Mining’s managing director, commented: "The program [at Kelly’s] was designed to follow up on prospective rock chip samples, including a high-grade, historic drill intercept. We look forward to reporting the results of the program in due course."
"Drilling at Sterling has highlighted several zones of intense alteration with anomalous gold warranting detailed structural mapping and sampling, including veining associated with the 6g/t rock chips at Sterling central 'Kink' area," she added.
