Thor Mining PLC (AIM:THR, OTC:THORF, ASX:THR) said it has identified high-grade copper and gold at the Kelly's NE prospect of its Ragged Range project in the Pilbara, Western Australia.
Rock chip sampling from the prospect identified high-grade gold of up to 7.2 grammes a tonne (g/t), copper of up to 13.6%, and silver of up to 123g/t, along north-south trending structures, similar to the Kelly's Ridge area, said Thor.
"The Kelly's NE area was defined in recent airborne magnetics and a compilation of previous exploration work,” said managing director Nicole Galloway Warland.
“Despite significant soil anomalies being defined in the area, no drilling has been undertaken at the prospect. Rock chip sampling has now confirmed high-grade copper with significant gold and silver.”
Nine rock chip samples were collected across the Kelly's NE prospect area.
