Terra Uranium Ltd (ASX:T92) presented its initial uranium findings from the Pasfield and Parker projects in Saskatchewan, Canada, to the Global Uranium Conference in Adelaide on November 10.
The company, which recently made its debut on the ASX, has recovered and reprocessed historical VTEM, gravity and magnetic airborne geophysical surveys from both projects and the results confirm uranium at surface.
This work was conducted by consultant geophysicist Kyle Patterson, while a 3D inversion of the historical data was modelled by Computational Geosciences.
Preliminary results confirmed the extent of the anomalies at the projects, which in turn helped to focus new ZTEM and VTEM surveys and secure additional prospective mineral claims.
Surveys continue
A ZTEM Airborne Geophysics survey has been extended to new areas following the confirmation of a historical MEGATEM conductive anomaly at Parker. Multiple conductors were also confirmed at Pasfield.
Processing of final data has kicked off with geophysical inversions to follow.
In addition, a VTEM airborne geophysics survey is underway with both Pasfield and Parker targeted for follow-up on the back of strong ZTEM results.
Further multi-element and isotope work is also being conducted to assess the significance of the find.
Ambient Noise Tomography (ANT) geophysical nodes have been deployed and retrieved from the field, with seismic velocity processing and modelling in train.
Expansion, permits and engagement
The company has expanded the Pasfield Project with the addition of 14,153 hectares in new, 100%-owned claims, and is advancing permits for all projects over the next three years with the Saskatchewan Government.
There is also ongoing “good faith” engagement with Indigenous and stakeholder groups as part of the company’s preparation for an expanded northern winter exploration program.
Executive chairman Andrew Vigar said: “The Terra Uranium IPO was significantly over-subscribed and I believe this is a testament to the quality of our projects, board and particularly our Saskatoon-based exploration team who managed to initiate the geophysics so soon after listing.
“These initial findings, which confirm the presence of the historic MEGATEM conductive anomaly at Parker and multiple conductors identified at Pasfield, strengthen our conviction in the high quality of the projects, as well as the investment case for Terra Uranium.”
