Tempest Minerals Ltd (ASX:TEM) has completed an extensional geochemistry sampling program at the Remorse Target (NYSE:TGT), part of the Yalgoo Project in Western Australia.
The target has a strike length of more than 4 kilometres with an untested but previously tenement-constrained area to the south of the main anomaly now also sampled by the company.
Yalgoo Copper Project
The Yalgoo Project consists of 1,000 square kilometres in the Yalgoo Region of Western Australia, where Tempest previously announced the presence of large-scale copper-zinc anomalies at the Remorse target that are now being advanced toward drilling.
The new sampling area is one of a number of exploration targets and extensional geochemical survey areas that became apparent in previous exploration in the area.
TEM collected about 80 soil samples from this new zone, which will be Ultrafine assayed and comprehensively scanned using Boxscan technology.
The company expects the results to be available in July and at that point they will be incorporated into the greater dataset to aid in drill targeting.
Tempest Minerals is continuing its fieldwork program in the lead-up to drilling at Remorse.
