Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Monday, as losses in the Oil & Gas, Healthcare and Technology sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.24%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Kinnevik, Investment AB ser. B (BS:KINVBs), which rose 1.01% or 2.4 points to trade at 241.2 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.78% or 1.90 points to end at 245.80 and Skanska AB ser. B (ST:SKAb) was up 0.68% or 1.40 points to 206.80 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which lost 2.04% or 0.63 points to trade at 30.31 in late trade. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson B (ST:ERICb) declined 1.26% or 0.77 points to end at 60.48 and Volvo, AB ser. B (ST:VOLVb) shed 1.08% or 1.54 points to 140.96.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 436 to 274 and 80 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for July delivery was up 0.82% or 0.41 to $50.21 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in August rose 0.70% or 0.37 to hit $52.88 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.08% or 0.99 to trade at $1267.11 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.03% to 9.7201, while USD/SEK rose 0.00% to 8.6947.
The US Dollar Index Futures was down 0.04% at 97.29.
