Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the Healthcare, Technology and Consumer Goods sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 declined 0.84%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Essity AB B (ST:ESSITYb), which rose 1.67% or 3.60 points to trade at 219.60 at the close. Boliden AB (ST:BOL) added 0.90% or 1.80 points to end at 200.70 and Tele2 AB (ST:TEL2b) was up 0.73% or 0.75 points to 103.35 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Swedish Match AB (ST:SWMA), which lost 4.21% or 18.0 points to trade at 410.0 in late trade. Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb) declined 2.82% or 21.8 points to end at 751.4 and Getinge AB ser. B (ST:GETIb) shed 2.26% or 1.9 points to 80.4.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 452 to 172 and 47 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.28% or 0.72 to $56.97 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.47% or 0.97 to hit $67.09 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 1.24% or 14.90 to trade at $1214.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.24% to 10.2524, while USD/SEK fell 0.33% to 9.0567.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.32% at 96.97.
