Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Tuesday, as losses in the Basic Materials, Financials and Healthcare sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 fell 0.67%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Autoliv Inc . SDB (ST:ALIVsdb), which rose 0.99% or 10.0 points to trade at 1017.0 at the close. Telefonaktiebolaget LM Ericsson Class B (ST:ERICb) added 0.88% or 0.47 points to end at 53.62 and Svenska Cellulosa SCA AB B (ST:SCAb) was up 0.82% or 0.6 points to 73.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Boliden AB (ST:BOL), which lost 6.56% or 20.20 points to trade at 287.70 in late trade. Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb) declined 3.66% or 0.76 points to end at 20.01 and Swedbank AB ser A (ST:SWEDa) shed 3.15% or 6.7 points to 206.1.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 491 to 253 and 79 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for December delivery was up 1.06% or 0.55 to $52.45 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in December rose 1.34% or 0.77 to hit $58.14 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract fell 0.31% or 3.91 to trade at $1276.99 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was up 0.20% to 9.6524, while USD/SEK rose 0.07% to 8.2050.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.09% at 93.80.
