Investing.com – Sweden equities were lower at the close on Wednesday, as losses in the Financials, Technology and Telecoms sectors propelled shares lower.
At the close in Stockholm, the OMX Stockholm 30 lost 0.28%.
The biggest gainers of the session on the OMX Stockholm 30 were Fingerprint Cards AB ser. B (ST:FINGb), which rose 1.65% or 0.10 points to trade at 6.27 at the close. Atlas Copco AB Series B (ST:ATCOb) added 1.25% or 4.0 points to end at 328.9 and Atlas Copco AB Class A (ST:ATCOa) was up 1.16% or 4.2 points to 361.4 in late trade.
Biggest losers included Nordea Bank AB (ST:NDA), which lost 2.57% or 2.34 points to trade at 88.66 in late trade. Svenska Handelsbanken AB A (ST:SHBa) declined 1.62% or 1.62 points to end at 98.28 and Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB A (ST:SEBa) shed 1.49% or 1.26 points to 83.12.
Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 320 to 303 and 49 ended unchanged on the Stockholm Stock Exchange.
In commodities trading, Crude oil for June delivery was down 0.35% or 0.25 to $71.06 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in July fell 0.29% or 0.23 to hit $78.20 a barrel, while the June Gold Futures contract fell 0.09% or 1.20 to trade at $1289.10 a troy ounce.
EUR/SEK was down 0.08% to 10.2735, while USD/SEK rose 0.38% to 8.7184.
The US Dollar Index Futures was up 0.26% at 93.38.
